Wurida is designed to require as little personal information as possible.

The app does not require:

• email address
• phone number
• password
• government ID
• contact list access

Wurida may store and process the following limited information in order to operate:

• a device identifier generated by the app
• an automatically generated username
• an optional nickname chosen by the user
• an optional emoji avatar chosen by the user
• the user’s current Quran page
• group membership and invitations

How We Use Information

• create and restore a user account on the device
• show reading progress
• allow users to create and join groups
• display group member progress in real time
• support invitations between users
• maintain app functionality and security

Data Sharing

Wurida does not sell personal data.

Wurida only shares limited in-app profile and reading information with members of the same group, such as:

• username
• nickname
• emoji avatar
• current page

Data Retention

Data is retained only as needed to provide the service and maintain account and group functionality.

User Choices

• change their nickname
• change their emoji avatar
• leave a group
• stop using the app at any time

Security

Wurida takes reasonable measures to protect stored data and limit the amount of information collected.

Children’s Privacy

Wurida does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information from children. The app is designed to operate without requiring personal identity information.
